The funeral service for Janetta F. McGinnis, age 85, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Chick officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Janetta was born to Clement and Stella (Alexander) Siegmann on August 2, 1931, in Loyal, Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016, at her home in Enid.

Janetta attended school at Hayward and Enid. On May 29, 1947, she married Carl McGinnis, and they made their home in Enid.

Janetta worked as a photo retoucher for Marquis Studio, Blunck's Photography and Wess Gray. She also worked as a sales clerk at Mel's Clothing. She loved being a volunteer at Integris Bass Hospital in the gift shop. Janetta worked in the Sunday school system at Bible Baptist Church.

Janetta's home was always open to all. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

Janetta was preceded in death by her husband Carl, two brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her children: Patty and Lloyd Klassen, Terry and Beverly McGinnis, Gayla and Tim Jones, all of Enid; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
