The Celebration of Life for Linda K. (Smither) McGee, 62, is 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Van Greenwood will officiate. Burial is in the Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home this evening, Oct. 27, 2016.

Linda was born July 21, 1954, in Oklahoma City, to B. A. and Virginia (Lyons) Smither, and died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016, in Frisco, Texas. She was raised in Enid, graduating from Enid High School in 1972. She attended the Kansas City Airline School to become a flight attendant. She also worked for Auto and Truck Supply. She attended school to become a travel agent, then owned and operated her own travel agency. She worked for Quail Springs Baptist Church in the Rec. Center and for Women of Faith in Frisco, Texas. When she retired, she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Richard Henneke and wife, Denise, of Enid; Matthew Henneke, of Edmond; daughter, Catte Caviness, of Frisco, Texas; sister, Brenda Smither, of Enid; three grandchildren: Kristin, Dylan and Jayten; and father, B. A. "Burney" Smither, of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia; and son, Zachary Caviness.

Memorials may be made to OMRF- Heart Division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
