A graveside service for Patricia "Pat" McCoy, 56, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Norris Williams will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Pat was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Spring Lake, N.C., to Newton Alexander and Erie King Jones and died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, in Enid, OK.

She graduated from Pine Forrest High School in 1970 and attended Fayetteville Tech. She joined the U.S. Air Force in 1976 and retired in 1999.

She married Lee McCoy Dec. 9, 1986, in Denver, CO.

She did Medical Billing Business from her home for a couple of years and also administered military exams for acceptance into the military. She worked at Advance Food for several months, then NORCE, then Vance Air Force Base the last two years as supply supervisor of customer service.

She was a member of Grayson Missionary Baptist Church, serving as an usher, a member of the finance committee and as trustee.

She was preceded in death by her father, and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Lee; two sons, Ricky Jones of Hinesville, GA, Alex of the home; two daughters, Lakeisha of the home and Sharmaine of Annadale, VA; her mother, Erie Jones of Spring Lake, NC; three sisters, Vera King, Susie Jones and Linda Jones, all of Spring Lake, NC; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Grayson Missionary Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
