Funeral service for Erline “Sandy” McCormick, 85, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Allen Siebel officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born to Perry and Doris “Blake” Arnold on Dec. 7, 1929, in Enid and passed from this life on March 31, 2015. She grew up in Enid, graduating from Enid High School. She Married Otis McCromick Dec. 6, 1947, in Enid. She worked at JCPenny department store until 1956. She began working at Nickle Drug after her children were raised, and continued there for 30 years, retiring in 1994.

She was a member of Shriners Auxilliary Club and Davis Park Christian Church.

She enjoyed going to the lake and was always dedicated to her family with a servant’s heart.

She is survived by her son, Mike McCormick and wife Mary; daughters, Tami Horner and Kari Dotson and husband Bob, all of Enid; six grandchildren, Micheal, Emily, Kayely, Zak, Justin and Cheyenne; six great-grandchildren, Brennan, Mackenzie, Wyatt, Anna, Kyser and Knox.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Otis McCormick.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
