Funeral service for Frances Bernice McClaflin, 82, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Frances was born Feb. 8, 1929, in Enid, Okla., to Bert and Frances Ryan Fowler and died Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Enid. She was raised in Enid until age 14, then moved to Wakita area where she attended Manchester schools and graduated.

She married Howard McClaflin Aug. 15, 1946, in Anthony, Kan. They lived in Wakita, moved to Guymon, Okla., in 1950. She worked at Gibson Department Store for 10 years. She was a very accomplished bowler. She moved to Enid in 2003 from Guymon. She was a member of National Women's Bowler Association.

Survivors include her husband, Howard of the home; daughter, Carolyn Haught of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son, Roger McClaflin of Guymon, Okla.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Carrol Fowler of Michigan and Duane Baker of Topeka, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Howard of the home; daughter, Carolyn Haught of Colorado Springs, Colo.; son, Roger McClaflin of Guymon, Okla.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Carrol Fowler of Michigan and Duane Baker of Topeka, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.

July 11, 1928 - December 26, 2017

Howard McClaflin, 89, passed away December 26, 2017 in Littleton, CO. A memorial will be held at a future date in Enid, OK.

Howard was born in Manchester, OK on July 11, 1928, to Glenn and Irene (Hess). He married Francis Bernice Fowler November 20, 1946. The couple had three children: Carolyn, Cindy and Roger.

They were longtime residents of Guymon, OK where Howard worked for Adams Hard Facing. They moved to Enid in 2003. After his wife passed, Howard moved to Colorado in 2011.
