Fern McAtee, 81, died Monday at Bass Memorial Baptist Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be 3:30 PM Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rik Marion officiating. Services are under the direction of the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

She was born October 10, 1907. She attended Enid schools and graduated from Phillips University in 1928, and Enid Business College in 1929.

She married Roy McAtee July 17, 1941. He preceded her in death March 17, 1976. She was a 30 – year veteran of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Deloris Macfarline of Enid.

Memorials may be made to the National Association of Retired Civil Service Employees, with the funeral home acting as custodian.
