Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Malter, 82, of Lamont will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral home Chapel with Dr. Jack Featherston officiating. She died June 30, 1974. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors are two sons, Virgil L. of Highland, California, and Robert L. of Portland, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Jane Robinson of Long Beach, California; and four grandchildren.

Those who wish may contribute to the Lamont United Methodist Church in her memory. Henninger – Allen will act as custodian of the funds.

March 19, 1895 - April 4, 1974

Oliver L. Malter, 79, Lamont, died early Thursday morning, April 4, 1974, in a local hospital following a short illness. Services will be Monday at 2 PM in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Nick E. Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Lamont United Methodist Church has been suggested as a suitable memorial, with the funeral home as custodian.

Malter was born March 19, 1895, in Belleville, Illinois. He came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1909 and attended schools in Kremlin. He married Mary Ann Lawrence on January 4, 1922, and since 1942 they made their home on a farm at Lamont.

He was a member of the Lamont United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge at Kremlin.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann, of the home; two sons, Virgil L., Highland, California, and Robert L., Portland, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Pete (Thelma) Toews, Enid and four grandchildren.
