Memorial Park Cemetery


January 17, 1938 - June 22, 2022

A Celebration of Life Service for Carol Lu Myers, age 84, of Enid, will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Chaplin Perry Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Carol was born January 17, 1938, in Seiling, OK, to Lee Goodman and Lola Spies and passed away June 22, 2022.

She attended school in Seiling. She married John Rex Power and later married Neal Myers on November 5, 1965, in Enid, and he passed away August 17, 2019.

She was a member of Davis Park Christian Church, where she sang in the choir. Carol worked at the Enid State School and as a custodian for the Kremlin Schools. She and Neal later started their own cleaning business. They mainly cleaned the Kremlin Banks. She became a member of Willow Road Christian Church.

Carol is survived by her loving dog Abby; two sons, John and wife Brenda Power and James Power; granddaughters Crystal Weston and husband Wes and Bobbi Baker and husband Juan Ramirez and grandson Zack Jones; step-daughters, Camilla Shriver, Barbara Murray, and Tracy Ross; several great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Heid; half-sisters, Charlene Gober and Hope Greenfield; and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five infant children and half-brother Lee Goodman, Jr.

Memorials may be made to Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
