Friday, August 4th, 1939 - Thursday, October 26th, 2023

A Celebration of Life Service for Ronald "Ron" D. Mott age 84 of Enid will be 10:00 am Monday, October 30, 2023 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Alan Seibel officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ron was born August 4, 1939 in Cherokee, OK to Clifford and Lois Brooks Mott. He attended and graduated from Carmen High School. He married Leota Rich on March 14, 1959 in Fairview and she passed away July 21, 2023. He was a parts man for New Holland in Cherokee. They moved to Enid in 1982 where he went to work for Northern Equipment as a parts manager retiring in 2006. Ron was an active member of Oakwood Christian Church for over 40 years. He enjoyed watching and attending the Oklahoma State Cowboys for over 25 years.

Ron is survived by his daughter Cindy Leslie and husband Monte of Stillwater, granddaughter Melonie Tanksley and husband Joey, grandson Kyle Leslie and wife Aubrie, great grandchildren; Mya and Addison Tanksley, Ethan, Zachary, Cole, and Rhett Leslie, sister Cheryl Percival and husband Marvin, brother Darole Mott and wife Judy, four nephews and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Darren.

Memorials may be made to Oakwood Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
