Yook Yip "Judy" Mar
July 28, 1939 - May 26, 2023

Yook Yip "Judy" Mar, 83, of Benbrook, Texas, formerly of Enid, Oklahoma, passed on to be with her ancestors and beloved, late husband, Shui Hung "Bob" Mar, on May 26, 2023, at Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care in Fort Worth, Texas.

Judy was born on July 28, 1939, in Macau, China, to parents Saunder Gee and Yok Bik (Ma) Gee. She immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, in 1951, where she picked strawberries and blueberries and attended school.

She and Bob married on August 9, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, and made their home in Enid, Oklahoma, where they raised their four children. They acquired Three Towers Restaurant in 1968 after 13 bustling years of management by Bob's father. Together, Bob and Judy served Chinese-American food for over 45 years, including their epic Three Towers salad dressing.

Judy was an avid gardener, cook, and painter. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, at the casino, and with her cats, Mr. Peaches and Sophie. She attended the Chinese Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Judy is survived by her four children, Melinda, Melissa, Gorland, and Patrick; her daughter-in-law, Rhealene; and four grandchildren, Casey, Serena, Austin, and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shui Hung "Bob" Mar; sister, Jean Mar; and brother, Gean Gee.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2nd, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Judy's name can be made to the OMRF Alzheimer's Division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
