The funeral for Clark Kimball “Kim” Luther, 72, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at World Harvest Church. Pastors Brad and Tamy Mendenhall will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

He was born April 5, 1937, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Clark A. and Lois Hobart Luther and died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He graduated from Hickman High School, Columbia, Mo., before serving in the Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He worked for Sinclair Oil Co. in Columbia. He later owned Luther’s Rental and Service Station, Warrenton, Mo. He married Betty Fischer Sept. 28, 1985. They made their home in Warrenton, where he was a volunteer fireman with the Warrenton Fire Department for 17 years. They moved to Enid in February 2008, where he was a member of World Harvest Church.

Surviving are his wife, Betty, of the home; two daughters, Diana Flora of Camdenton, Mo., and Linda Howell of O’Fallon, Mo.; five stepchildren, Dan Fischer and Don Fischer, both of Warrenton, Kraig Fischer of Herrin, Ill., Sandy Foster of Enid, and Cara Murphy of Midlothian, Va.; one sister, Rose Mary Castleberry of Austin, Texas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to World Harvest outreach projects.
