October 23, 1940 - November 18, 2019

Velma Jo Lohmann, 79, passed on November 18, 2019 surrounded by her daughters in Enid OK. She was finally set free from her long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and was reunited with her beloved son Jeff in heaven. Her family will receive friends on Thursday evening, November 21, 2019 from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held for friends and family on Friday November 22, 2019 at 12pm at the Mausoleum Chapel in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Jo was born to Wayde and Erma Lee (Law) Lyon on October 23, 1940 in Alva, OK. She attended Alva Public Schools. She married Robert Lohmann on January 21, 1956 and had three children Joy, Jill, and Jeff. Jo stayed at home, caring for her children, until 1970, when they moved to Enid and opened Northwest Vet Supply. She enjoyed traveling the world, attending OSU ball games, and most of all spoiling her grandchildren.

Jo is survived by daughters Joy Smith and husband Larry of Enid, Jill Westfahl and husband Al of Lahoma, 7 grandchildren; Cody Westfahl and wife Meredith of Enid, Miranda DeCook and husband Brian of Enid, Casie Vos and husband Andrew of Enid, Drake Smith and wife Liz of Enid, Dylan Smith and wife Stacie of Owasso, Drew Smith and wife Chelsea of Oklahoma City, and Derek Smith and wife Camerin of Owasso, 14 great grandchildren; Cooper and Charlee Westfahl, Lawson DeCook, Ruger and Remington Vos, Colton and Hayden Johnson, Slade Smith, Macyn and Maddox Smith, Emery, Sutton, and Sawyer Smith, and Daltan Smith, her sister, Sondra Castillo and husband Bill of Enid and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her son Jeff, parents Wayde and Erma Lee Lyon, and sister Kathy Rust.

Memorials may be made to OMRF-Alzheimer division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds. Condolences may be made online at www.ladusauevans.com .
