The funeral service for Hallie Lynn Liming, age 94, will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at Hillsdale Bible Church. Rev. Meredith Sides will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Hallie was born March 19, 1914, in Jet, OK, to William A. and May O. (Costelow) Vincent. She died December 18, 2008, in Enid, OK.

She attended the Jet school from primary to her graduation there in 1931. She graduated from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa in 1933, and then went on to Oklahoma A&M College in Stillwater. She taught school near and in Hillsdale seven years.

She married Harold M. Liming, November 7, 1936, in Enid, OK. She was a member of Hillsdale Bible Church and taught Sunday school classes for 50 years and was a church deaconess, on the Consolation Committee and treasurer of benevolence. She was also the Junior Sunday school superintendent. She was a member of the Mutual Benefit Club until it was dissolved. She taught in the adult literacy program and volunteered at the Hillsdale Christian School and Hope Outreach.

She was a vibrant, outgoing person who always put the needs and wishes of others before her own. People left her presence with extra warmness in their heart and a greater sense of worthiness. We will greatly miss her presence and influence on our lives. She was a grandmother and mother to more than her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, her husband, Harold, Nov. 26, 1992, and son, Garth, Dec. 28, 1985, one sister, Ellen Husky, two brothers, Adrian Vincent and Herman Vincent.

She is survived by her son, Gregg Liming and his wife, Marjorie of Purcell, OK; daughter-in-law, Connie Liming, wife of Garth Liming; grandchildren, Shawn Liming of Sweetwater, Texas, and Tiffiany Liming Morse of Phoenix; great-grandchildren, Jade and Jenna Morse and Britton, Ashtyn and Sutton Liming.

Memorials may be made to the Hillsdale Bible Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlink mail.com.
