June 23, 1938 - November 26, 2018

Funeral service for Jim Lichtenberg, 80, Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor David Reber, Jr. officiating.

Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Visitation for family and friends is 5:30-7:00 p.m. this evening, November 28, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Jim was born June 23, 1938, south of Carrier, Oklahoma, to Louis and Lorraine Lichtenberg, and passed away Monday, November 26, 2018, in Enid.

Jim grew up on a farm southwest of Enid and graduated from Waukomis High School. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he played baseball.

On May 18, 1962, Jim married Janice Hajek in Hennessey. They lived in Enid and later moved to Waukomis. Jim farmed in the Enid, Waukomis and Drummond areas. Jim was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Jim is survived by his wife Janice; children, Cheryl (Curtis) Clark, Christi (Larry) Miller, and Jeff Lichtenberg; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Spivy, and Beverly (Chuck) Grimes; brother Jerry (Eileen) Lichtenberg.

He was preceded in death by his son Randy Lichtenberg, and his parents.

Memorials in his memory may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, through Anderson-Burris.
