September 22, 1936 - October 31, 2019

Funeral service for Eileen Marie Lichtenberg, 83, of Enid, will be Monday, November 4, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Reber, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

Eileen was born on September 22, 1936, in Pecos, Texas, to Ephraim Wesley and Doris Estelle Clark Simpson. Eileen passed away on October 31, 2019, in Enid.

She graduated from Covington High School and Enid Business College. Eileen excelled at typing and shorthand. She was employed at Bell Telephone, Groendyke Transport, KCRC and Pioneer Telephone. On December 14, 1973, she married Jerry Lichtenberg in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Eileen was an avid quilter, devoted mother, wife, and aunt - covering us all with love, warmth of friendship, and colorful quilts. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Lawrence Simpson; sisters, Anita Stebbins and Sharon Webster.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; children, Tammy and husband Steve Lemke of Norman and Terry Franklin of Canon City, Colorado; grandchildren, Thomas and wife Rebecca Lemke, Seth and wife Madisen Lemke and Sarah Lemke; great-grandchildren, Ranan and Lucy and one on the way; other relatives and friends.
