The funeral for Bobbie Arvella Lemmons, 84 year-old Enid resident will be2:00PM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the Christian Church of the Covenant. Rev. Pat Sutherlin will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Bobbie was born the daughter of Nelson and Vernice Boatright on April 10, 1932 and passed away peacefully June 29, 2016 in Oklahoma City. Bobbie was born in Salina, Oklahoma and went to school in Locust Grove until the eitgth grade. On September 1945 the family moved to Enid where she attended and graduated from Drummond High School. While there, she excelled at basketball and track. Upon graduating she attended Draughon School of Business in Oklahoma City where she met her husband Gayle Lemmons. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1963 with son Greg where she lived and worked until she retired as office manager at Casa Bonita restaurant. Bobbie then moved to Enid where she lived until her death.

Bobbie had a beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. She loved crocheting, tatting, sewing, birds ,flowers, and western swing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brother Chester Boatright, and grandson Bryan Lemmons.

She is survived by her son Greg Lemmons and wife Jamie, sister Treva Dick and husband Melvin, brother Dale Boatright, nieces, Shelly Keeling, Shannon Boatright, Shawna Stehr, and Mandy Boatright. Grandchildren, Julie Lemmons, Grant Lemmons, Lindsey Harris, and Heather Harris.
