October 11, 1978 - January 27, 2021

A Celebration of Life for Monica Suzette Landeros, age 42, of Edmond, formerly of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4th, at the funeral home.

Monica Suzette Landeros passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021. Monica was born in Portland, Oregon, on October 11, 1978, to Carlos and Penny (Wood) Landeros. The family moved to Enid when she was 2 years of age. She is a 1997 graduate of Pioneer High School. In 2002 she graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Nursing with a BSRN. She provided 18 years of compassionate care to others while working at the Oklahoma Spine Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring nurse while working on the floor and in surgery. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was the best Mom to two dogs, "Grace" the Jack Russell and "Ally" the Boston Terrier, whom she referred to as the "twins". Monica had the best sense of humor, and we will truly miss her funny stories.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, E.P. Wood, Jr., Elaine Wood Yarbrough and Dale Yarbrough; paternal grandparents, Jose Landeros and Antonia Trujillo Landeros; and cousin, Chuck Landeros.

Monica is survived by her parents, Carlos and Penny Landeros, of Enid; brother, Craig Cullum (Dennis Lock) of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Erika Landeros of Enid; and her favorites, nephew Jalon Taylor and niece Ava Booker. She is survived by three aunts, Donna Wood, Mary Rose Young, and Beatrice Landeros; one uncle, Frank Landeros; cousins, Dr. Jared (Heather) Wood, Lindsey (Kasey) Bickerstaff, and Joe Landeros.

Monica holds a very special place in each of our hearts. There is not a day that we will not be reminded of her laugh, sarcasm, and wit. She was supportive and loving. Our lives have forever been changed by her existence and her departing. We love you Monica.
