Betty Jane Parks Lorenz was born April 13, 1936, at Alva, Oklahoma to Walter S. & Elsie Ging Parks and passed away January 27, 2023, at the age of 86 years 9 months.

Betty graduated in 1954 from Okeene and married the love of her life in June of 1954. Betty worked for Okeene Hospital Annex for 20 years and the Okeene Duckwall Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Okeene

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents, 3 sisters, and 5 brothers.

She is survived by her two children: Kendall(Kristi) Lorenz of Isabella and Kim(Rob) Bowers of Woodward, OK. Three grandchildren: Tanner(Itzel) Lorenz, Garrett Lorenz and Andrew ( Lisa) Hartfiel. Also surviving are her bonus grandchildren; Audra (Josh) Davis ad Diedra Clester and four bonus great grandchildren, Carson and Carter Davis and Cameron and Chloe Hartfiel, Brother John Daniel Parks, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing and visitation, at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene, OK, will begin Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 12-8 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors from 3-6p.m.

Graveside services for Betty will be Friday, February 3, 2023, at 2 P.M. at the Memorial Park Cemetery Pavilion in Enid, OK, with Pastor Phillip Wilson officiating and Wilkinson Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
