Harvey Noel Lavicky, Sr.
Thursday, December 7th, 1944 - Wednesday, February 28th, 2024

A Celebration of Life service for Harvey Noel Lavicky, Sr., age 79, of Enid, OK will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Harvey was born December 7, 1944 in Enid, OK to Charles and Alma (Theilen) Lavicky and went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2024. He graduated from Carrier High School in 1963. He married Frances Kinney on January 18, 1964 in Enid, OK and they had two daughters and two sons. In 1983 he married his second wife, Robin Buckminster, and they had a son.

Harvey built the family home and was a Deacon at Davis Park Christian Church. He worked in the oil field, drove trucks, worked at Cummins Construction Company, and established Lavicky Trucking Company and Northwest Diesel Service. Harvey enjoyed driving race cars, working with his hands, spending time at the lake with his family, and helping anyone he could.

He is survived by his children: Rose (Doug) Adams, Angie Waken, Harvey (Megan) Lavicky, Jr., Roy (Krista) Lavicky, and Josh (Angela) Lavicky; 14 grandchildren, Douglas, Alex, Carli, John, Jakob, Lexi, Nick, Lukas, Marissa, Vanessa, Abi, Christian, Clara, and Dansby; 2 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Carter; 8 siblings, Charles (Helga) Lavicky, Louis (Stella) Lavicky, Pat (Larry) Bixler, Betty Chodrick, Nancy (Butch) Buchholz, Vernie Lavicky, Julie (Charlie) Cagle, David (Suzanne) Lavicky; and longtime companion, Tammy Hulsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Frances Schultz, Louise Coleman, Lydia Garis, and Rose Longacre, and his grandson Crosby Lavicky.

Memorial contributions can be made to Our Daily Bread or Enid SPCA, with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.
