Julia Margaret (Reck) LAMERTON

Memorial Park Cemetery


The funeral service for Julia Margaret Lamerton will be 2:00 P.M. Friday April 8, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church. Dr. James R. Struthers will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

She was born December 17, 1903 in Oklahoma City, OK to John and Mildred Reck Graves and passed away April 4, 2005 at the age of 101. She graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City and attended the William Wood Girls College and the University of Oklahoma. She married Park W. Lamerton May 5, 1925.

She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, DAR, Colonial Dames, and the Garden Club. Her greatest joy was cooking and taking care of her family.

She is survived by her children, Park W. Lamerton, Jr. and wife Helen of Edmond, John D. Lamerton and wife Karen M. of Houston, TX, and Susie Cameron of Enid; grandchildren, David B. Lamerton and wife Kay H., Christy L. Lamerton, Park W. Lamerton III and wife Karen, Todd A. Lamerton and wife Sissy, Eric Joe Lamerton, Steven P. Cameron, and Julia Margaret Weingardt; great grandchildren, John W. Lamerton, Katie M. Lamerton, Megan Lamerton, Joe Lamerton, Park W. Lamerton IV, Natalie N. Lamerton, Lauren E. Lamerton, Ella K. Lamerton, Natalie S. Weingardt, and Park E. Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband Judge Park W. Lamerton and sister Helen Boyle.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church with Henninger-Allen serving as custodians to the fund. Condolences may be sent to www.enidwecare.com
