Bud S. Kusch, 70, 1509 N. Quincy, died suddenly at noon Monday in a local hospital.

Kusch, who followed his father's trade as a builder of a number of homes in the Enid area, was the third generation of Kusch builders in Enid, being a co-builder with his son Harold Kusch.

Kusch was born January 18, 1907, at Meno and at the age of six moved with his family to Enid where he had since lived. He and Tena Heinrichs were married July 24, 1935, at Enid and she survives.

He is also survived by his son Harold and a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Betty) Trice, Yukon, a sister, Mrs. Howard (Nina) Bourland, Enid; four grandsons and five great – grandchildren.

Funeral rites for Kusch will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of the Fossett Funeral Home with the Rev. Orville Parham of the First United Methodist Church officiating. He will be buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family has suggested that those who wish may make contributions to the Heart Fund in Kusch's memory. Contributions may be made directly or through Fossett's.
