Funeral services for Theodore "Ted" Kurz, 53, who died Thursday morning in his home following a long illness, will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Bennett officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kurz was born March 19, 1923, at Burlington. He came to Enid with his parents in 1933. He graduated from Enid high school in 1941.

He served with the U. S. Army during World War I I. He married the former Irene Harris on December 15, 1946, in Enid. He was a partner with with Kurz and Kurz realtors.

Kurz was a member of the Central Christian Church, the Enid Board of Realtors and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Irene of the home; two sons, Dennis, Enid, and Gary, of the home; one granddaughter; four brothers, W. F., Joshua tree, California, H. R., Enid, Robert R. and George A., Both of Fort Worth, Texas; five sisters, Katherine Kurz, Arlington, Texas, Mrs. Elwood (Beatrice) Driskell, Enid; Mrs. D. E. (Eunice) Sedbrook, Del Rio, Texas, Mrs. Harry (Alice) Musser, Memphis, Tennessee, and Mrs. Forrest (Shirley) Woolery, Oklahoma City.

Those who wish may contribute to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Lung Research, in his memory. Henninger – Allen will act as custodian of the fund.
