The funeral for Adrian Kruse, 88, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Terry A. Chick will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Local 2270. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born Aug. 11, 1917, in Beaver County to George and Allie Handle Kruse and died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Integris Bass Pavilion.

He grew up and attended school in Beaver County. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945, with the rank of private. He moved to Enid in 1945.

He married Phoebe Vanhoozer Oct. 11, 1946, in Vinita. She died Jan. 4, 1994.

He attended A&M; Tech Television Repair School in Okmulgee and worked for Klingenberg and Co. for 14 years. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phoebe.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Bible Baptist Church.
