Memorial Park Cemetery


G. Kap Kron, 75, 713 Mistletoe, died Thursday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.

His funeral will be at 2 PM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd H. Lambert officiating. He will be buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Kron was born April 22, 1900, in Rosewood, Indiana, and grew up in Iowa. He was a long – time Enid resident, operating the Kron Painting Company here until his retirement in 1965.

Kron was a member of the Central Christian Church and the local painters union. He and Reba Henry were married in July 1949 and she survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Betty) Imboden of Longdale; a step daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Glenna) Buchanan of Enid; five grandchildren and three great – grandchildren. A brother and sister died earlier.
