A Celebration of Life for Glen F. Kroll, age 77 years, of Breckinridge, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont, OK. Reverend Timothy Dorsch will officiate, with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Glen was born January 31, 1939 in Enid to Frank August Kroll and Minnie (Cohrs) Kroll, and passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 following a sudden illness.

Glen attended Immanuel Lutheran School of Breckinridge, then graduated from Garber High School in 1956. He married Betty Richardson on September 23, 1994. He was a life-long farmer and also worked for Central Machine and Tool. Service to the church was a high priority for Glen, serving as an Elder in both Immanuel Lutheran Church in Breckinridge, and Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wayne Kroll and step-grandson, Danny Miller, Jr.

Glen is survived by his wife Betty, of Breckinridge; three sons, Lynn, Joe, and Tony; three grand-children, Alex, Katie, and Mary Beth; four step-children, Jimmy Yell, Carla Estes, Rockie Yell, Cristi Power; ten step-grandchildren; numerous step- great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Schultz and wife Iva, and Milburn Kroll and wife Fran, one sister Marlene Smith and husband Bill; and sister-in-law Mickey Kroll.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Betty JoAnn (Richardson) Kroll

February 05, 1936 - January 06, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Betty Kroll, 82, of Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Community Bible Church in Green Valley, Pastor Bill Smith officiating.

Interment follows in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Betty was born February 5, 1936, on the family farm near Independence, Kansas, to James and Lula Mae (Damewood) Richardson, and passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Enid.

She married Jim Yell November 4, 1953, in Coffeyville, Kansas, and to this union four children were born. They moved to Enid in 1969. She went to work as a machinist for Central Machine & Tool, where she met Glen Kroll. They were married on September 23, 1994.

They both eventually retired and moved to Breckenridge to be closer to their farm. Betty was a devout Christian and loved Jesus. She and Glen were members of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairmont. They farmed in the Fairmont, Garber, and Breckinridge areas until Glen passed away in 2016.

Music was an important part of Betty's life. She loved singing, writing music, and playing her guitar. She was a talented quilt maker, making quilts for her family members. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and her beloved dog Lulu.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lula Mae Richardson; husband Glen Kroll; brother, Bruce Allen Richardson; nephew, Allen Richardson; grandson, Danny Miller Jr.; and son-in-law, Bill Halliburton.

She is survived by two daughters, Carla Estes and husband Randy, of Enid; Cristi Power, of Enid; two sons, Jim Yell and wife Cathy, of Delaware, OK; Rockie Yell and wife Jackie, of Coffeyville, KS; three step-sons, Lynn, Joe, and Tony Kroll, and their families; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, June Rexwinkle; as well as many nephews, cousins, and other family.

Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to Enid SPCA or the Wounded Warrior Project, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
