A Celebration of Life Service for Linda Lee (Smith) Kroeker, age 69, of Yukon, formerly of Enid, is 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at Central Christian Church, Enid, with Rev. Butch Phillips officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Linda was born February 4, 1948, in Enid to Lee and Betty Callaway Smith, and passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1966. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, and Phillips University in Enid. She received her Bachelors of Science in Education Degree. Linda married Lowell Kroeker, the love of her life, on August 16, 1968, in Enid. Linda began her teaching career in 1976, at Harrison Elementary, but the majority of her teaching career was spent at Chisholm from 1979- 2003 when she retired. She came out of retirement to teach a few more years at St. Paul's Lutheran School. Linda was an active member of Central Christian Church where she was active in the Youth program. Linda and Lowell moved to Yukon in 2013.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Hamilton and husband Travis, Bradlee Kroeker and wife Krystal, and Lauren LaFon and husband Terry; eight grandchildren, Hallee, Carson, Collin Kroeker, Ethan and Kaitlyn Lipsett, and Tylan and Kaston Hamilton and Lincoln LaFon; a brother, Larry Smith and wife Barbara; sister, LaDonna Ritter and husband, Norville; a sister-in-law, Mary Lou Wiens; and a niece, Dianna Just.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, niece, Dottie Hanson, and nephew, Barry Smith.

Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church-Youth Program with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
