The graveside service celebrating and honoring the life of Evelyn R. Koehn, 87 of Enid will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Mike Sommerfeld of the Sonrise Fellowship officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born to Fred and Martha Jantzen August 8, 1930 in Okeene. She was raised and educated in Ringwood graduating from Ringwood High School in 1948.

She married Clayton J. Koehn September 2, 1950 in the First Methodist church of Enid.

She was a devoted mother and wife. She was a long-time member of the Grace Mennonite quilting circle. She had a passion for gardening but most of all loved being with her family and attending her grand children’s events.

She is survived by her husband, three sons; Rick Koehn and wife LaVina of Enid, Randey Koehn and wife Denise of Valley Center, Kansas, and Ron Koehn and wife Pam of Enid, six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one sister; Lavera Eck of Las Animas, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by both parents.
