ENID, OK — A graveside service for Connie Koegel, 80, will be at 10 a.m. today, July 12, 2014, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. John McLemore officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Connie was born to Hobart and Hazel (Countryman) Yeakley on March 9, 1934, in St. Joseph, Mo., and passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Plano, Texas.

Connie grew up in St. Joseph and graduated from Benton High School. On June 8, 1952, she married Raymond Koegel. They moved to Enid in 1966.

Connie was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a homemaker and the best cook there ever was. She liked to read and enjoyed word puzzles and working in the yard. After Raymond’s death, Connie moved to Plano to be near her daughter.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia and Gary Worthington of Dallas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; son, Eric, and granddaughter Janessa.
