Funeral services for Mrs. John (Clissie Leola Marshall) Klemme, 72, 2901 E. Elm, where at 2 PM today in the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Dr. Lloyd Lambert and the Rev. Lewis Corporon will conduct the rites. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Klemme died Thursday in a local hospital.

Born January 18, 1906, in Fulton County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Napoleon and Effie Marshall. She moved to Oklahoma with her family at the age of six, residing first in the Stratford area and later in Caddo County near Hinton and Lookeba.

She married John Klemme May 21, 1923, at Anadarko and lived in the Hinton community until August, 1934, when the couple moved to Enid.

Living most of her remaining life in Enid, Mrs. Klemme was a member of the Central Christian Church. Interested in sewing, she worked for various children clothing businesses in Enid.

Survivors include her husband, John, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty Ruth) Schmidt, Oklahoma City; one son, Robert L., Enid; four sisters, Mrs. Dora Miller, Ekley, Mrs. Iva Noland, Carnegie, Mrs. Nancy Dill, Frederick, and Mrs. Bessie Gregg, Hydro; three brothers, Jewel Marshall, Dos Palos, California, Ernest Marshall, Oklahoma City, and Dallas Marshall, Hydro; two grandchildren and one great – grandchild.
