ENID — Funeral service for Frances A. Klassen, 95-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, at Anderson - Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Chick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson - Burris Funeral Home.

Frances was born June 29, 1915, in Caldwell, Kan., the daughter of Ira V. Brewer and Nelle (Rounds) Brewer and died Thursday, March 31, 2011, in Enid.

Frances attended Enid High School.

She married Mervin Klassen July 5, 1937, in Enid. They farmed and ranched in Oklahoma and Kansas for many years. She worked at Larry Black's for over 20 years.

Frances loved her flowers and gardening. She was a mother of generosity, courage and grace who gave so much to her family. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by two sons, Lloyd Klassen and wife Patty and Joel Klassen and wife Linda, all of Enid; one daughter, Debbie Keegan and husband Jerry of Enid; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Vern Brewer and Eugene Brewer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Missions.
