A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Ruth Kitchens, 71, of Enid will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at the funeral home.

Ruth was born July 23, 1944, in Fredrick, the daughter of Coral and Cleo Calhoun Brown, and passed away Nov. 20, 2015, at her residence. She was united in marriage to Willie J. “Bill” Kitchens May 2, 1970, and he preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1994.

Mrs. Kitchens was employed as an LPN for NORCE until her retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Beck (Nancy) of Meno, Okla., and Dusty Kitchens (Michelle) of Enid; two daughters, Shelli Kitchens of Enid, Terrie McReynolds (Tim) of Enid; seven grandchildren, Danika Pearson, Steven Evans, Savannah Markes, Brittney Beck, Aubrey Beck, Jessica Kitchens and Nicholas Kitchens. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Murray, and three brothers-in-law, Reno Kendall, Joe Schornick and Grady McCord.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the fund. The family wishes to thank Hospice Circle of Love for their kindness and special care of their mother. The service may be viewed online, at www.ladusauevans.com.
