Kelly Denise Kime
September 15, 1963 - July 14, 2012

Kelly Denise (Threadgill) Kime went to dwell in the house of her Lord July 14 2012. She left behind, her husband Craig Wesley Kime, her daughter Kristopher Lynn (Kime) Hempel and her husband Bryan Michael Hempel, her son Taylor Liberty Kime a granddaughter Rowen Ember Kime, a grandson Avery Wayne Hempel, a sister Susan Fox, her loving mother Virginia A. Threadgill, her father and mother-in-law Paul and Norma Cinnamon in addition to a host of extended family and frinds.

Kelly was born in Oklahoma City September 15, 1963 to Virginia Threadgill. Kelly attended grade school in Bethany Oklahoma, and Western Oaks Jr. High School. She graduated from Putman City West High School in 1981.

Kelly regularly attended Sunday School and church at the Sunnymeade Baptist Church where she publically professed her faith in the Lord and was baptized at an early age.

She possessed a beautiful singing voice and greatly enjoyed singing in the church choir. She also was an accomplished pianist flautist and a member of her High School marching band.

She also was an active participant in the youth activities of her church and it was there that she met and fell in love with her husband of 31 years Craig Wesley Kime. On November 20, 1980 they were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Kristopher Lynn Kime. On December 30 1990 their son, Taylor Liberty Kime was born in Enid Oklahoma. Their third child, a daughter Bailey Nichole Kime was born on July 16, 1993. Unfortunately, Bailey died soon after birth in the hospital in Enid Oklahoma and her grieving parents and family committed her to eternal rest in the Grace Hill Cemetary in Perry Oklahoma.

Their first grandchild, Rowen Ember Kime was born on April 9, 2011 to their son Taylor and his wife.

On June 3, 2007 their daughter Kristopher married Bryan Michael Hempel and on July 23, 2011 Kelly and Craig's grandson, Avery Wayne Hempel was born.

Several years ago Kelly was diagnosed with severe diabetes and since that time she has continually suffered from the ravages and progression of the disease. On July 13, 2012, while in Estes Park Colorado, Kelly suddenly experienced a massive heart attack which ultimately took her from our presence.

Kelly had often expressed a desire to her family that when she died, it was her wish that through her death she could offer hope and life to others by the donation of her organs and it is in keeping with her wishes and generosity that today, 3 children have new heart valves, 2 individuals have new corneas, someone has a new liver, and 80 to 100 children and adults will benefit from her tissue bone marrow, and skin donations. All of these grievously ill individuals presently unknown to her family are now the grateful recovering recipients of her viable organ donations. An extensive search was made for recipients of her lungs but none were found that were a close enough genetic match, therefore her lungs were given to medical research.

A graveside service conducted by Pastor Joseph Mandrino ,under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home, will be held in the pavilion of Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00pm.

In place of flowers, a memorial donation to the Kelly Kimes Memorial Fund or the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oklahoma City or any other charitable organization of your choice will be grately appreciated.

Kelly, you are greatly missed but shall never be forgotten by your large circle of family and friends. Although you have passed from our sight, Beyond the Sunset and now tenderly hold your precious baby daughter Bailey Nichole in your loving arms, please wait for we too shall soon follow in your footsteps.
