Fred Kemp, 82, died Sunday evening in a Hill City, Kansas, hospital. He was a former Fidelity Motors and Dirksen – Jones Buick Company employee. His funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 AM in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Lovelle officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kemp was born September 27, 1892, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. He married Mabel Marie Jarrett April 16, 1914. She died in October 1974. He was well known in Enid having spent most of his married life here in the automobile business. He was also associated with Newman's Department Store for several years. He was a member of Central Christian Church and Enid Kiwanis Club.
Kemp had lived the past five years in Hill City, Kansas.
Survivors include two sons, Frederick W., Springfield, Missouri, and Jerry F., Oneida, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs. Rex (Katharyn) Money, Hill city, Kansas; eight grandchildren; 12 great – grandchildren; one brother, Russell, Eckhert, Colorado; and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Smith, Cedar Ridge, Colorado, and Mrs. Thelma Littleton, Oklahoma City.
The family will be staying at the Ramada Inn.
