August 16, 1942 - April 27, 2023

Celebration of Life reception for Karen Kretchmar, 80 of Enid, is 1-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Circle of Life Event Center. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Karen Kretchmar of Enid, OK, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. She was born to Merritt and Hettie Kent on August 16, 1942, in Enid, OK. She married Bernie Kretchmar on October 5, 1963. Karen was known for her quick wit, delicious homemade meals, and ability to make a friend of anyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie, her daughter, Robin and a sister Connie Bergman. Survivors include her sons, Lynn Kretchmar and David (Rene) Kretchmar, and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private viewing will be held at Anderson & Burris Funeral Home of Enid, OK.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to RSVP or Bennie's Barn as these were close to Karen's heart.
