Service for Edwin "Ed" R. Krausse, 83, Enid, is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Dr. Tom Stanley and Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Ladusau-Evans.

A Celebration of Life Service for Edwin "Ed" R. Krausse age 83 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Tom Stanley and Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ed was born August 13, 1938 in Enid to Rudolf and Edna (Wolf) Krausse and passed away early Wednesday morning in St. Mary's Hospital. He attended and graduated from Enid High School. He later attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University. He entered the U. S. Army serving three years and then was honorably discharged. He married Bertie Plat on April 20, 1974 at Central Christian Church and she passed away October 12, 2019. Ed started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring after 40 years. He was a member of Central Christian Church. Ed enjoyed model airplanes, gardening, fishing and working in his shop. He looked forward to visiting with his coffee group every morning at McDonald's.

Ed is survived by his, daughter Amy Johnson, two grandsons; Asher and Silas Johnson, two sisters; Rudena McPherson and Martha Axton as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Bertie.

Memorials may be made to Central Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodians of the funds.
