Memorial Park Cemetery



December 14, 1924 - October 8, 2021

A Memorial Service for Harvey H. Koehn, age 96, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor David Reber officiating. Burial with Military Honors provided by the United States Army, will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, Tuesday, October 12th, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Harvey was born December 14, 1924 in Meno, Oklahoma to David and Minnie (Nightengale) Koehn, and passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at The Commons in Enid.

He attended school in Helena, Oklahoma, where he participated in basketball. In 1943, he joined the United States Army and served his country during World War II. He married Arlene Reinhardt on June 5, 1949. He worked for Longbell Lumber Company for several years before taking a position with Champlin Refinery. He retired in 1983 when the refinery closed. Following retirement, he enjoyed playing his harmonica and spending time with his friends and family. He and Arlene were members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two children, son Michael Koehn and wife Cynthia, of Enid; daughter, Pam Berg and husband Robert, of Harrisburg, South Dakota; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bethel Kline, of Yukon, OK; Lillian Freeman, of San Diego, CA; and brother, Jim Koehn, of Enid; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Arlene; and three brothers, Leon, Norman and Don Koehn.

Memorial contributions in Harvey's name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
