The funeral for Juantia Logsdon Prentice, 63, who died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital after a period of ill health, will be at 11 a.m. Mon at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. John Hollerread will officiate. Burial will be in the Memoral Park Cemetery.
The casket will be opened until service time.
She was born May 8, 1927, at Nash to L.R. and Sarah Miller Logsdon and attended schools there. She worked for the First National Bank for three years and on July 18,1948, married Olin Prentice. They lived in Enid, where she worked for the firm of Wright and Sawyer as a legal secretary for 31 years, retiring in December 1988 due to ill health. She was a longtime member of the Enid Chruch of the Brethren, National Secretaries Assos., Sons and Duaghters of the Cherokee Stirp and Epsilon Sigma Alpaha Sority of the Alpaha Epsilon Chapter.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Timothy L. (Marilyn) Mathes of Midland, Texas; one son, Merle L. of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers; I. H. "Hank" Logson of Amarillo, TX and John W. Logsdon of Nash; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph E. (Frances) Hite of Anaheim, CA, and Mrs. Ocie A (Bess) Schriver of Enid; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
