Celebration of Life service for Yolanda L. Hunt, 93, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Rev. Mike Froese officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Yolanda was born May 21, 1923, in Enid to B.J. and Edna Coon Barker, and passed away early Friday, April 28, 2017, in Golden Oaks Village. She attended and graduated from Enid High School in 1941. Yolanda attended Phillips University where she received Bachelor of Science degree of education in 1945. She married Cecil L. Hunt on June 20, 1950, and he passed away Oct. 2, 1995. Yolanda taught at Harrison Elementary for 32 years. She was a former member of Grace Mennonite Church where she taught Sunday school since 1933. She was a member of O.E.A., Beta Sigma Phi, Delta Masters and Women Mission of Grace Mennonite Church. She became a member of Sonrise Fellowship Church.

Yolanda is survived by her close friends Mike and Peggy Froese of Enid, Virginia (Babe) Seeley, David Seeley, several cousins and family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
