Funeral services for Carl A. Hume, 48, 1551 N. Monroe, was at 2 PM today in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. J. Frank Howell officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Hume died in the Veterans Hospital at Oklahoma City Sunday evening following a long period of ill health.

He was born October 25, 1926, at Cleveland, Oklahoma and came to Enid from Hydro in 1963. He had lived in Enid since that time. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Irene, of the home; twin daughters, Mrs. Paul (Karla) Bell, Yukon and Mrs. Gary (Karn) gray, Edmond; one son, Alan Hume, Edmond; a step – son, John Edwards, Fairview; nine grandchildren; mother, Stella Hume, Weatherford; one sister, Mrs. Beverly Freborn, Houston, Texas; one brother, Bill Hume, Oklahoma City.

The family suggests the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation as a suitable Memorial. The funeral home will act as a custodian of the fund.
