A graveside service for Alta M Huffman, 80, will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, at Memory Garden Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery . Rev. Steve Byrum will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1928, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Bertie Nichols White and died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was raised in Dill City, Okla., where she attended school.

She married Roy Daniels Nov. 30, 1949. They moved to Enid in 1963. He passed away May 5, 1978.

She worked at Enid Memorial Hospital and Methodist Nursing Home as a nurse's aide. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.

She married J.W. Huffman July 23, 1980, in Rock Port, Texas. He passed away Feb. 20, 1995. She moved to Oklahoma City in 2008, where she resided at Baptist Retirement Center.

Surviving are two sons, Rick Daniels and wife Susie of Enid, Okla., and Vic Daniels and wife Eva of Enid, Okla.; one daughter, Diane Cooper and husband Gary of Edmond; grandchildren, Annette and Cody Daniels, Eric and Chad Moore, Lisa Jeanette Long and Robin Harmon; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Parks and Sue Morer; and one brother, Bob White.

She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Shannon Daniels and Kristie Rogers, one sister and one brother.
