Marie Losos Hudecek

Mrs. Marie Hudecek, 92, died Monday afternoon following a short illness. Service will be at 10:30 PM Wednesday in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Loy Watson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Hudecek was born in Czechoslovakia May 15, 1887. The former Marie Losos, she married Joseph Hudecek November 22, 1908, in Vienna, Austria. They came to America in December 1908, settling in East St. Louis, Illinois. Following his retirement, the couple moved to Enid in 1945.

Mrs. Hudecek was a member of the Czechoslovakia Society of America.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Anna Marie) Ruzek, Enid; one granddaughter, Mrs. Ann Garis, Enid; one great – granddaughter, Kathy Gorenewold, Enid; three nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, and infant son, her husband, Joseph, in 1962, and a nephew.
