Willard C. Huddle, 63, 428 Francis, died Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital following a brief illness. His service will be at 2 PM Thursday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Irving L. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The body will lie in state in the foyer at the funeral home until service time.

Huddle was born March 30, 1917, at Lambert where he was raised. He attended Wichita Business College, and moved to Enid in 1939 where he had since lived. He was associated with Day Ford Motor Company as a bookkeeper for about 40 years.

Huddle married Geraldine Cook September 2, 1939. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Air Force, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Enid.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; a daughter, Linda Hairfield, Thousand Oaks, California; two grandsons; and two sisters, Doris Croxton, El Reno, and Frances Haworth, Borger, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church with the church or funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
