October 31, 1936 - March 17, 2021

A Celebration of Life for Harold Ray Howery, age 84, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at Emmanuel Baptist, with Pastor Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Harold was born October 31, 1936, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Everett and Nell (Smith) Howery, and passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Enid.

Harold married Gloria Sanders in Oklahoma City, and they would have celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. He worked as a sales representative for Proctor and Gamble for 29 years, and, after retiring from there, worked for Jumbo Foods. Harold enjoyed working, and when he finally retired for good he spent many hours working on his yard and other projects.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Nell Howery; two sons, Mark Howery and Chris Sanders; a grandson, Brandon Stamp; and brother-in-law, C.L. Foster. He is survived by his wife Gloria, of the home in Enid; five children, Curt Howery (Kay), Stacey Beal (Tex), Connie Dotson (Wes), Terry Feely (Robert Sanchez), and Curtis Sanders (Tammy). His two sisters also survive him, Beverly Gabel (Larry) and Carolyn Foster; as well as 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Memorials in Harold's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Our Daily Bread, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
