The funeral service for Robert Lee Howard, age 86, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Robert was born to Walter M. and Margaret E. (Rich) Howard on May 21, 1922, in Strong City, OK, and died Tuesday, October 21, 2008, in Enid. He grew up in Enid, and attended Enid Schools. On July 19, 1941, he married Lois Holland, and they made their home in Enid. He then served in the United States Navy during World War II. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Enid. Robert worked for Champlin Refinery for 42 years, retiring in 1983. He was a charter member of West Willow Community Church and a member of V.F.W.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; four sons, Jerry Howard and wife, Ramona of Hackett, AR, Terry Howard of Edmond, Barry Howard and wife, Susan of Weatherford, and Tim Howard of Hennessey; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Roy Howard; and sisters, Mamie Jackson, Dovie Biggs, Bernice Ellison and Gladys Howard.

February 16, 1923 - February 27, 2020

Graveside services for Lois L. Howard, 97 of Enid, will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Lois was born February 16, 1923 at Laverne, OK to Louis and Goldie Robinson Holland, and passed away Sunday, July 27, 2020 in Enid. She graduated from Enid High School in 1941, and on July 19, 1941 she married Robert Howard. They made their home in Enid. Lois was a homemaker, a caregiver for many, and a hospital volunteer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2008. Lois is survived by her sons, Jerry and wife Ramona, Terry, Barry and wife Susan, and Tim, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
