Jaunita Faye Hornaday

December 21, 1934 - March 28, 2019

Funeral services for Jaunita Hornaday, 84 of Harrah, formerly of Enid, will be Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Jaunita was born on December 21, 1934 in Arkansas to George and Annie Endsley and passed away on March 29, 2019 in Harrah.

She married Edward Hornaday on January 3, 1955 in Arkansas. After his retirement from the military, they made their home in Enid in 1975. Jaunita worked in the laundry department at the Enid State School, retiring after 20 years. She enjoyed being a momma and grandma.

Jaunita was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Edna Quick; son, David Hornaday.

She is survived by three daughters, Kaye (Earvin) Hickerson, Barbara Backus, all of Harrah, Julia (Butch) Huggins, of Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; brother, Roland Endsley; sisters, Linda Simmons, Patty Stierer, Donna Sellers, all of Texas; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Alzheimer's. Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
