Funeral service for Robert Raymond "Bob" Hoppe, Jr. will be 1:00pm Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Marshall Billingslea & Lance Fuqua officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors given by the United States Navy. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. After a short illness, Robert (Bob) Hoppe, Jr. went to be with his Lord Monday, December 22, 2015. Bob was born October 26, 1953 to Bob and Martha (Skinner) Hoppe in Detroit Michigan. Bob was drafted into the US Navy in 1972. He was assigned to the USS Hancock CVA 19. Bob was then a carpet installer for over 40 years. Bob followed his dreams of playing the bass guitar with bands in the Denver area, Los Angeles, and Enid. Bob treasured thumping the bass with family and friends.

Bob's hobbies included renaissance fairs, fishing, traveling, golf, and motorcycling. Bob loved playing golf with his dad and brothers. For some reason, he was not allowed to keep score.

In 2003, Bob was introduced to his best friend and soul mate, Shelly. They traveled back in time to many renaissance fairs together. In 2010, Bob united with his son Bob Hoppe, III. Bob was very proud and amazed by his son's talent. Not a day went by that the two did not contact one another.

In the past few years, Bob came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He was thrilled to play with great musicians at Anew Church in Enid and One Life Church in Seiling.

Bob's contagious enthusiasm and uplifting spirit will truly be missed.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shelly; son, Robert (Grande) Hoppe III; step-daughters, Jennifer Howery and husband, Chad; Stephanie Bingham; Sarah Evans and husband, Steven; step-son Dustin Bingham; eight grandchildren; father and roomie, Robert Hoppe, Sr and Mara; brother/best friend and wife, Bruce and Barb Hoppe; sister and husband, Tessa and Greg Meis; brothers and their wives, Barry and Jennifer Hoppe; Don and Suzi Skinner; Jeff and Nancy Suttmiller; sister-in-law and husband, Teresa and Matt Rockers. Bob also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and friends.

Robert Hoppe, Jr. was preceded in death by his brother, Bill; mother, Martha; and sister, Sherry.

Memorial donations may be given through the funeral home to Anew Church or OMRF – Heart Division.

See you on the flip side, you rascal.
