Memorial Park Cemetery

Enid, OK — Paul Wesley Hoover was born Sept. 2, 1909, on the Centennial farm of his parents, Wesley P. and Mabelle L. Hoover, west of Hunter, Okla. On Aug. 14, 1954, Paul and Mary Frances Seapy were married in Enid. After her death in 2000, he moved from Kremlin back to the Hoover farm. He lived there until May 2008 when ill health brought him to Golden Oaks Nursing Center, where he died Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; brothers, Carl and Merle Hoover; and sister, Helen Albright.

Paul is survived by one sister, Louise Bradley; numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sister-in-law, Laura Seapy, and brother-in-law, John Fiegener; several cousins and many friends.

Services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in the Hoover family plot. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

"Thank you for pointing that out! (a second entry) I hadn't noticed. I called my grandmother who contacted Paul's sister Louise Bradley who is 94 and still living in Hunter. The two listings are the same person. Paul was the son of Wesley and Mabelle Hoover. I wanted to clear this up for you if I could. I'm also including the link to his obituary.

There is a room at the Garfield County Fairgrounds called the Hoover Room that I've always been told is named for Paul. He was a special man with the kindest heart. He spoke slow and always listened and had a hug or handshake for everyone." -- Erin
