Graveside services for Florence Evalene Holloway, 99, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Deb Huskey officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Florence was born on October 21, 1921 in Enid, the daughter of Marcus Marion Butts and Elsie Hebig Butts, and passed away peacefully on January 18, 2021 in Enid. Florence married Glen Holloway and to this union seven children were born. Florence was President of her Mother’s Club. Later, she worked as a cook at North Enid Elementary School and then Chisholm High School. She also worked for Graves Truck Line.

Florence was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Glen; her oldest daughter, Roberta Landers; grandson, Darrell Boese, Jr.; granddaughter, Robin Shepard; and great-granddaughter, Shelby Hale

Florence is survived by sons, Wayne Holloway of Enid and Walter and wife Teresa Holloway of Arkansas; daughters, Kathryn and husband Darrell Boese of Enid, Pat and husband Jim Poindexter of North Enid, Mary Beth Burns of Castle Rock, Colorado, Nancy Sharp of Enid; 15 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.
