Funeral services for Mrs. Celia Hollen, 84, 1700 S. Monroe, will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim A. Williams officiating. She will be buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hollen died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital after a period of failing health.

She was born October 19, 1896, at Corbin, Kansas, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Charles Heisel. The family moved to Enid in 1902 and she attended schools here then graduated from high school in Wichita, Kansas. She also graduated from Emporia Teachers College and taught for a time in Kansas.

She and Arthur Hollen were married in 1921. They lived in Missouri and Kansas. Mrs. Hollen's husband died in 1956 and the following year she moved to Enid where she had since lived.

Mrs. Hollen was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, the Rebekah Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Jean V. Mattson of Retail, Washington; a granddaughter, Susan Herrington, Retail and a sister, Mrs. Vesta Pefley of Enid. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Hollen.
