November 24, 1923 - July 16, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Olive Corrine (Nichols) Hobbs, age 95, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Friday, July 19, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Barrick officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 18th at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Olive was born November 24, 1923 in Enid to Charles and Icie (Gratner) Nichols and passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 in Enid.

She married J. Leonard Hobbs October 18, 1941 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and they celebrated 63 years together before he passed away in 2004. She and Leonard were members of the Enid C.B. Club and the Enid Go Kart Club. They also did crafts and attended many craft shows. Throughout the years, they also traveled extensively.

She is preceded in death by her parents and twelve siblings. Olive is survived by four children, Dennis Hobbs and wife Gwen of Newalla, OK; Joyce Morris and husband Dennis; Cheryl Batterman and husband Marvin; and daughter Terri King, all of Enid; ten grandchildren, Russel Hobbs and wife Angel; Greg Hobbs and wife Susan; Justin Hobbs and wife Ali of; Curtis Morris and wife Mary; Madelyn Morris; Barry Batterman and wife Tara; Heidi Fisher and husband Eric; Brock, Chase, and Dayne King, all of Enid; and many other great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorials in Olive's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
